Momma on the Greenway
Momma is the most famous alligator on Amelia Island. Every three years she has a set of hatchings the name for which is a pod. So she is a podcaster I guess. Anyway she is huge and hangs out in a certain area of the Greenway here on the Island. I was taking shots of her one day and suddenly she decided to put on a show and really looked frightening as she ripped through the water back and forth for quite some time. I thought she might cross the creek and go after me. But I bravely stood there and took some shots (haha). Here is a close up.
